Justine Boucher was one of the first people I worked with when I started at Metis. My first impression: wow — this woman knows her stuff. Whether it's the intricacies of the mobile telecom market or the science behind energy storage, Justine has no problem understanding and communicating even the most complex of topics. Combine that with her love of pop culture, and you’ve got yourself a stellar teammate for bar trivia. You'll also want Justine by your side for karaoke night (see: her legendary "I'm On a Boat" performance from our 2014 holiday party).
Between her smarts, her work ethic and her infectious laugh, Justine is an integral (and hilarious) member of the Metis team. We sat down with her to find out why she’s stuck with Metis for 4+ years.
Why did you decide to work at Metis?
I was sold on the company investment in employee development, like mentoring, training and regular feedback.
What were you up to before you came to Metis?
I had done stints in marketing and investor relations, as well as B2B tech PR.
Who would play you in the movie of your life?
What’s your favorite Metis benefit?
I love having the week between Christmas and New Year's off. It's always a great time to spend with my family.
What have you learned from working at Metis?
Your only limits are what you're willing to experiment with. Your career is what you make it.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chocolate...or eggs (brunch is my jam), but not chocolate eggs.
