Courtney Hurst

Powers & abilities: Courtney takes market opportunities others fail to recognize and turns them into success stories. Through agility, leadership and bold energy manipulation, Courtney inspires Metis and client teams to set aggressive goals and achieve them through innovative PR programs.

Courtney has used her radar sense for crafting the right messages for the right audiences at the right times to deliver the goods for companies including EDGAR Online, Motorola, Informix, The Joyful Heart Foundation, TransPerfect and many others.

A lifelong entrepreneur, Courtney owned her own restaurant on Cape Cod, Massachusetts prior to starting Metis.  She is a member of the board of trustees for the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum and a member of the Business Associates Club.  She received her bachelor’s degree in communications from Loyola University New Orleans. 
 

Classified information: As a child, Courtney sold shells to tourists on the streets of her hometown at the tip of Cape Cod. She's been building businesses ever since and channels her numerous entrepreneurial experiences into launching emerging companies into promising markets. When not rocking it for her clients, Courtney expels excess energy training for triathlons, "picking the pile" on Cape Cod commercial fishing boats and writing fiction.
