Powers & abilities: In a company that traffics in the power of words, Melanie brings a keen eye for numbers and the bottom line. Her experience as an auditor at KPMG, in senior accounting roles at Houghton Mifflin Publishing and as a supervisor in the endowment department at Children's Hospital Boston were all training maneuvers for her assignment at Metis. Throughout her career, Melanie has exceeded the high expectations of clients including Gillette, New England Medical Center and CVS, as well as thousands of customers who passed through the popular Cape Cod restaurant she co-owned.

Melanie earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Plymouth University and her master’s degree in business administration from Suffolk University. Certified as a business and technology teacher, Melanie specializes in financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, policymaking, and employee management.

Classified information: By day, Melanie decodes human resources, client management and operational data. When she's off-duty, Melanie decompresses at the beach, in the kitchen or in far-flung vacation spots.
